On the professional side, I've been taking a class in real estate law. It's something I've always wanted to learn, and I've found an avenue where I'm able to learn while doing freelance work. With my aim of providing as much value as I can, the connections I've made at the office could be beneficial.
I know that only challenges await in the future, but I remain excited to see what's on the other side.

My plan for the future is to start a YouTube channel in order to keep my skills up. I've found editing is like a muscle, and with how much information is flowing in this day and age, the rate of atrophy is exponential. I want to use my skills and knowledge to create high-quality videos for businesses and individuals, so I'm using social channels to keep up with the latest trends.
Speaking of trends, I've been experimenting with AI. At first, I thought experimenting with AI Image Generation would involve a lot of re-learning Photoshop (which some of it has, but even Adobe has been integrating AI with things like Generative Content Fill so I would have learned some AI stuff along the way), learning how to write accurate prompts has become a science in itself. Here are a few things I've come up with, just for fun:
Hello, and welcome to my blog. I've been looking to redirect my efforts towards creating more, and this is a step towards that. "Some doors close so others can open." It wasn't till I started searching for a new full-time gig that I began to realize a bunch of doors are swinging open, I just have to catch the right ones.
I'm using this time to pursue my interests and learn new skills. I'm particularly interested in increasing my skills in motion graphics and editing; I've even taken up a real estate course, and I'm trying to learn about AI in an effort to keep learning new skills. I'm excited to see how these things can be applied in my next position.
I opened up After Effects for the first time in a few years. I figured making a simple intro sequence would help me get the ball rolling. After making a quick .png in Illustrator, I came up with this:
